Vision correction info!!

If your vision gets corrected, will you start using periods and commas?!

Also....yall are a bunch of blind asses! I had no idea!
Haha I’ll make a valiant effort at improving my grammar. What makes it even worse tho is my mother is a retired teacher and my woman’s a grammar nazi, like some folks on here!

That’s gonnna kill your eyes. I didn’t the same thing and every so often had to fight an infection, pink eye, or detoriated contact in my eye.

I’m squirmish with things in my eyes, but if you can bear through it for 45 seconds, you’ll hate that you waited so long.
Ive read some study’s on leaving disposables in long term and it can seriously do some damage to your eye! I kept a pair in for 8 months, my eyes took 3 days to feel normal again after putting in new contacts. Had an acute infection in my right eye from it too.

Let me clarify.

I dont leave them in for months on end. I take them out and rinse them off and store them in solution every night. Knock on wood, I've never had pinkeye or the like and never had one try to come apart.

I used to sleep in my contacts, wear them for a few months, until I experinced a lens getting stuck to my eye. I didnt know it, but as I tried to remove it, it pulled my eyeball out. Not sure if it was 1/16" or an entire inch, but it felt way too wrong, and I immediately resolved to never sleep in them again. I change them out more often too now, usually 4-6wks. I throw out the oldones in when my solution runs out.

And damn, looking at everyone's prescriptions, you're making me feel like I'm wasting my money on contacts. I'm somewhere around 1.00/0.50. Been 'normal' until this year when I just got astigmatism in one eye, and doc said I should pick up 0.75 readers.

I'm pretty blind without mine. Worn contacts for 25 years.

I was in the 5-600s contacts. In 2008 I had prk (lasik without cutting) I had it done at providence eye in Charlotte. Had a checkup 3 weeks ago. Still 20-15 in both eyes.
My cornea was thin so they didn't want to cut. PRK uses "sandpaper" to scuff surface of eye. Then they shoot it with the laser. More painful recovery but they can do it multiple times (touch ups) without going to deep into eye.
