Somewhat last minute, but this is happening just outside my home town this weekend...in case anyone is interested. Rumor has it that some of the underground racing cars will be there and several cars are 200mph+ capable.

Possibly, but knowing what some of the roads are like around Badin, Albemarle & New London, I doubt they'll be speeding! However, the new Airport Rd/Ridge St extension leading up to the airport is pretty smooth. My guess is all the high dollar rigs will be trailered anyway...and knowing where some of the local hotels are, some of their stuff may end up missing!

If it is set up like others I've been to the SHP will be there and will be making sure no one on the track has been drinking I saw a half dozen or more guys hand cuffed and leaving in the back of a cruiser at the latest event like this
