So, I didn’t see the thread, but it’s been brought to my attention the @77GreenMachine and I were called out for some shady activity. So, for his sake and my sanity, I’ve decided to bring the issue to light and left the board judge or judge not.
Many of y’all know Phillip and you know he’s not that kind of guy, so to have his name run through the mud has been bugging me, especially since my name was attached to it. For those that don’t know me, we can arrange that and you can form your own opinions from there.

Here is what I know:
New guy (I know, I know, I assumed gender,) on the forum asked about buying a TJ. I sent him the following PM.

After that, I received and corresponded in the following text. (I’ll do my best to keep it in order)

That’s what I have. I did delete Jerimy’s phone number, because it’s not my place to give it out. I deleted mine, because I don’t need unsolicited 🍆 pics. 🤣
I’m not here to pick any fights, but I’m not gonna let my friends get drug through the mud, especially when he nor I actually got to read what was said.

Yeah I would also like some clarity on this. The screen shots dude posted in my for sale thread of him texting someone did not match the phone number of the guy who bought it from me. It was sold to a forum member local to me, and he was very happy with it and has plans to build it. It was NOT a POS as this guy claimed, he never reached out to me, nor did Justin so I have no idea where this whack job came from or what he’s talking about, but don’t appreciate mine or Justin’s names being thrown around like that.

I was replying to it and when I hit post it said I couldn’t and then the thread was gone.

I seen the post, rubbed me the wrong way as well, I’ve met and dealt with @tobaccoroad4wd and while I haven’t dealt with @77GreenMachine personally, I’ve exchanged a few messages with him and just his overall involvement with the get togethers, I feel confident in saying he’s a stand up guy as well….when I read the post from the douche canoe, it seemed like he wasn’t even posting in the correct thread. He mentioned a $16k Jeep and Phillips was 9k? He also complained about how serious we take NOT off-roading illegally, ultimately, I gathered he is a flat
Bill high schooler “they/them” that inserts tampons on the regular……in other words, his words and opinions are worth about as much as monkey feces
 
I assume it got taken down because it didn't make any sense. He was complaining about yall trying to hawk a $16k jeep that sold for like $8k, so clearly there was some logic disconnect. He also said this forum was f*cked because of you people. So at least he got one thing right :flipoff2:
 
So dude was basically saying you sold a TJ to a guy who is now claiming it is a POS? And sellee is a member but did not post himself?

PM him and have him clarify here in this thread.
 
Unlike the rest of the internet, most of us have met, and partied together at least at one event over the years.
The opportunity of a face-to-face here is much greater than most so this may get VERY interesting indeed 😎

Close. Duder was talking about 2 different Jeeps (one for $16k, one for $8k or whatever the price was), AND he didn't buy either of them :rolleyes:
 
I havent seen the original thread. And I only skimmed this thread.
I would like to consider myself an expert, however, on this matter at this point.
Im available M-F, 8am to 8pm, for emotional support sessions. I charge one ujoint and a 10mm socket per hour.
 
If I understood the ramblings in the thread, I assumed the buyer of said TJ then tried to sell it to the keyboard ninja AND he did not buy it. The pictures he posted were of the same jeep...sale price was $8k and seller was asking $15k.

Yes that is the way he made it seem. But the guy texting him about selling the Jeep for $15k did not match the number of the guy who bought it from me, who was @chrome'd.45

If he did in fact try to sell it for double the profit, more power to him as I don’t care. But it was not a POS is all I wanted to clear up. And I think that dude was either confused, or someone from Zimbabwe skimmed pics from the for sale thread and was just trying to scam him.

Dang, I missed some drama.

All I know is all of you are sketchy as heck (yes I know we are not in the garage) and @tobaccoroad4wd and @77GreenMachine are the least sketchy of the bunch :laughing:

On a serious note they are two great guys and I have gone to battle for one of them against a very small pissed off man, and would be happy to do it again.

To the noob talking junk, come hang out with us and don’t hide behind a keyboard, unlike most forums and FB groups we actually know many of the members in real life and by their real names.
