waterfall at Mtn City

I'm at 108, and did it with a leaf sprung YJ. At that time I was on 44's, but now I'm on 42's. The 42's hook up better than the 44's, so i think i'll be allright again.
However, 108 feels wrong on "easy out" It takes some serious rock humping for me to get up that ledge. I think its jeepnjason IIRC, that has a CJ5 on 38's, he can make it up the waterfall, with a little bit of pucker factor, but he can walk the ledge at easy out.
Nah, the waterfall has denied me several times. Im runnin 39 tsls with 99 inch wb. I think it def has to do with commitment. I havent been since it has started warming up, so id love to try it now.......not as bad rolling over in the water when it is warm. And yeah with the wb i have i can pretty much hammer right over easyout. Hopefully one of these days i can get some links under my turd and get around 105 wb. Then i can finally make it worth my while to ck out harlan.

Anything 105-107 & up should be a cakewalk and not worth mentioning. Anything less is all about comitment or lack there of :driver:!
I'm at 100" and haven't been denied yet. Knock on wood. :driver: It IS all about commitment and the line you hit. I always aim for the tree with my drivers side front tire and then turn right at the last second. It has taken me as many as 6 attempts to get it, but I did finally crest the top. I can always tell right away if I need to back off and try again. It's when I can feel the tires start to grab and then I know to stay on the gas and go with it to the top. The ledge on easy out is a different story. I'm running 37" Iroks and leaf springs. The front spring hangers on my rear leafs always hang up and that's all she wrote no matter what I try. Get to ride the cable over the ledge then.

well put, Nuff said!

jeremey let me know when ya wanna try it again. Hopefully be going up in a few weeks. That way we can have 2 cj5 s give it a shot!

As I know it, the water fall is just up Welder trail on the right, past that just to the right before you would go into easy out is what we call the ledge. It begins with loose shale rock, then a ledge, and then a good hill climb before you reach the top of the skyline trail

got some steering issues to fix before i get that far from home. should i try to push the box forward 4" or just throw it away and go full hydro. I'm thinking move it forward, since it is a street driver.
