weight loss

I dont drink soft drinks I only drink water or juice. I have been eating grilled chicken tuna some lean steak and fruits and vegetables
Have been doing the elliptical for about 45min to hour a day 3 days a week going twice a day this week we will see if it makes a difference.
I just wanted to see if anyone had any luck taking anything to help boost the weight lose

Only thing I would recommend is don't get in a rut doing only one type of exercise. Rotate different things.

Elliptical, bicycle, running, walking, repeat etc.

I am a bit in the same boat.

I have gained alot in the past 2 years. At my job I sit on my ass all day and answer the phone and email for 8 hours. I my commute is 1.5 hours a day so 9.5 hour of doing nothing.

It is really starting to take it toll on me. My knees and back are really starting to hurt alot and I was in the hospital with a heart issue in January.

Interesting thing is that exercise makes a difference. I just got back from Germany and we did some hiking and alot of walking. My knees and back stoped hurting even though I was really tasking them.

So I got back to work on monday and after sitting for a day at the computer I could hardy get up.

I need to start working out more. i am think about Starting Swimming again. I used to Swim alot and I was able to keep my weight off.

i need to drop 80 lbs fast and then work hard on the rest so I can get back down to 185-190

havent read the entire post just the original post but I went from 265 to 205 very easy (minimum 1 pound every 3 days ... most of the time 2-3 pounds every 3 days) with "eat stop eat" and a little excersise. I have the .pdf if you want to look over it and as far as exersise I never worked out more than 20 mins a day ... usually no more than 4 days a week

As to the original question on diet pills.
All the ones that "worked" back in the day, stacker, xenadrine, metabolife, hydroxycuts, dexatrim and 100 other knock offs worked on the old fashioned thermogenic ECA stack.

Essentially it is Ephedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin in a 2:2:1 ratio. The epherine and caffeine are stimulants and the aspirin "thins" the blood supposedly...blah blah blah...
Korey Stringer, blah blah blah ephedrine is banned in supplements and made more difficult to buy because of meth heads.

You can still buy it just for medicinal purposes, go to any gas station and they sell it as a bronchodialater, yeah like anyone uses it for that reason. Anyway if you want the old school diet pills buy the new dumbed down ones and take an epherine along with it.

have lost 8lbs in a week so busting ass at the gym is working and not eating much is helping too may not be the best way but its not good for you to be fat either

You will lose a lot the first week then a little less and less and less until you are down to about 1 or 2lbs a week.....You actually should eat "more" than less....As I stated I eat 6 meals a day but am within a few hundred calories of 2,000 each day....My first week I lost 11lbs, then 6, the gained 2, lost 3, and then started about 1 or 2 every week.

guys should actually eat more than 2k calories a day i just forgot the actual number its more towards 3k

You are correct...I think something like 2700...I have been keeping it around 2000 but I also have to make sure I get enough nutrients etc. which means I have to plan out my meals etc.
