Looks to me like a really old school aerator. Cool!

I'm not good with putting an age to things like that, but it's damn old lol. That's awesome!

EDIT: Could also be a seeder? Not sure. I'm going with my first guess.

Dont think so....those forks have a short travel on the crankshaft. Looks like they just go either up and down or in a flipping motion.

Seen forks like that on a potato harvester, but they rotate and flip taters to the side.

Correct, the height should be adjustable. I'm 99% sure that's an early hay tedder.

I was thing either Potato rake, or hay rake. It's the same as the You tube video. But it doesn't show, What it does! I'd think it would toss hay to one side, but I didn't see that. What does It do, that a Rake doesn't do?
