What are you getting your gf for xmas?

On a similar note I seriously cannot figure out what to get my mom for Christmas, she sells jewelry, pocket books and other girl type accessories so that always kinda kills like my entire gifting ideas at holidays and Bdays

How about you take her out to eat somewhere nice, just you and her?

I've bought my wife a tool set. She's been PO'd because I won't let her into my tool cabinet. I'll give her her own set. When she loses them - she'll understand why mine are locked up.

mine wanted something to wear and something fun to play with so I bought her a pair of pants and cut both pockets out...

Get her something from bath and body works, my girlfriend works there, she loves everything about the place and buys all the female members in her family something from there. Anything from lotions, to body wash, to wall flowers.

While that is a good idea, I've already used it once . . .

Well, did she enjoy it that once???
Nothing wrong with doing it again..
The beauty of eating, and "mother/son time"... it will never get old!

would you enjoy a dinner alone with Rickey?

kidding.

no really. make something for her. i made mine a bowl full of sea shells. spent some time on it. it broke and she liked it soo much that i got away with fixing it for her next xmas present!

something creative. works for moms and g/fs.

I guess, I am just not a very creative person usually, course i could make her a cool artsy kinda thing with my welder and all the chewed up nv4500 gears I have laying around :shaking::lol:

Jon got me the black and white xbox controller and a 1 year online subscribtion. My best friend is headed back overseas and he can get xbox live where he is at. Beats yahoo messenger

You could, but it wouldn't hold together long enough to withstand the unwrapping process. :flipoff2:

Seriously though, my wife has a little fencing guy made from nuts and bolts with a large ball bearing for a head, and she loves it. Cost all of $.75 in hardware.

My mom gave me a wish list of some small home projects that I have been doing for her, since my dad passed away and she's living by herself. I told her I would do them anyway, but that's what she wanted. In years past, I just gave my mom flowers of good chocolates...since she pretty much has most of the stuff she wants, those are things she can enjoy for a while, then not have to store them for the next 20 years...

Bath and Body Works, simple and ALL girls like it. This works for Serious and not so serious relationships, and works for mothers, mother-inlaws, ect.
