Dale's Pale. Yeeooo

Picked up a 12 pack of Sierra Nevadas Snow pack variety. Contained their Pale Ale, Coffee Stout, Porter and Boomerang IPA.

Pale Ale is always good, the Porter was nice, but Light for a porter. The Coffee stout was VERY COFFEE flavored. And the Boomerang IPA was about as Hoppy as I've ever had.

Something I've noticed between home brew and purchased beers is that Homebrew doesn't give you the hangover in the morning after a few beers.

I had 4 beers last night over about 3-4 hours. One each of the Sierra Nevadas listed above. Woke up with a FAWKIN headache and fuzzy head this morning.

I can have 4, 5, 6 glasses at 16oz of my Homebrew and wake up at 7am ready for a full day of yard work.

Screw this purchased stuff that costs more and leaves you feeling like ass!

I had a talk about this with a buddy. He swears the unfiltered homebrew has more vitamins and nutrients that's good for the body compared to a filtered craft brew. I always blamed blue moon and new castle as the worst hangover beers. Is that Just me?

For me Sam Adams. I can have 2 and wake up hurting. I asked Big Dan that owns the Homebrew store I go to about this and he said:

Big Dan said:
My theory is that pros make more fusel alcohol. The big fermenters put more pressure on the yeast, leading to a harsher alcohol. Keep drinking homebrew![\quote]

Had a Shipyard Pumpkinhead and a Shocktop pumpkin and wheat. Both were really good

Better than expected!
