what beer are you drinking?

A buddy just came back from a trip to England and brought me these. I'll be tasting them tonight!

North Hills Harris Teeter had 12 packs on Wednesday afternoon when I was there.

Did the Red Oak brewery tour for the... 1234134 time? Rocking a pretty fantastic buzz. Sitting at home sipping on some shocktop until my ride gets here :p

Tasting the Caesar Augustus now.

Very extreme hopped Lager. So WRONG!

Don't care for this one, but then I dislike IPAs more and more each day.

This one is like grapefruit juice with some lager in it.

Hop slam hits the Carolinas today.

.... Been drinking this one the past few nights. Im gonna have to move it to the top of my IPA favorites. Great hopps flavor but not overpowering like most IPA's on the market today.

Southern Tier 2XIPA.....

The dogfish head 60 min IPA is one of my new favorite's. Also tried the Ranger which want bad. Trying to try a few more IPAs instead of drinking porters and stouts all the time. On the plus finally found the Triple C Up All Night Porter. Expensive but damn tasty.

So Budweiser says:

And Northern Brewers (Homebrew supplier) says.

Budweiser: "peach ale is for lazy, unimportant pansy socialites with big furry mustaches" here try out new manly Strawberita instead!

InBev is running scared and this superbowl ad is just the start. They just bought a craft brewery that sells a Peach Ale! I can't find the name of it though...

Budweiser and all the domestic MACRO brews are running scared. I don't recall the actual numbers, but the majority of 21-37 age range males (Budweisers target marketing group and future drinkers) aren't touching Bud/Miller, etc. they are going to to Craft Beers or the Cheap stuff. Not the mid range price stuff like Bud and Miller. How long until the craft brew bubble bursts, who knows. but until then, the numbers are not in Buds favor.

Drink American!!! Support local and small businesses! Bud is the walmart of beers, sometimes you just have to go there, but would rather go somewhere else (I do drink Miller HL now and then though)

from what I'm reading Bud pretty much shot themselves in the foot.... but you will have your loyalist.

Is it me or did all the good beer just pass the threshold of $8/6 pack??? Right when I told "self" to never go past $8 a 6, now I gotta bump it to 9 unless I drink piss.:(

Craft brews are slowly becoming a rich man's sport... That which "self" is not...:shaking:

Yes and no. At $9 a six pack with ABV above 4.9% I drink less beers. I make a six pack last two-three days.

Back in my heavy miller lite days I would drink 4-6+ in a sitting.

If I ever drink 6 beers of craft brew I am bombed and switch to water.

Craft beers are heavier with more calories and fill me up faster. Less filling miller lite or the likes do make me want to drink more of them.

Not really the ideal "season" but damn tasty none the less.
Still prefer a 90 minute though.
