Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin - good stuff, not real hot, a peppery finish.

Fullsteam Coffee is for Closers - iced coffee porter in a tall boy can. Not super memorable but good.

Fullsteam First Frost - brandy barrel aged. deeh-licious and 10% ABV

Hell or High Watermelon just came out for the summer. Not really what I'd call an actual beer (it's okay, you can make fun of me for drinking watermelon beer), and it's a bit weird, but it's tasty and super refreshing. It's just about the only beer I drink in cans. It's chilling for later tonight.

My parents bought two used barrels from Heaven Hills distillery from a mom and pops hardware store in the mountains. They wanted them to make bar tables in their wine room. We found that one of them had some liquid in it, so we pulled the bung, laid it over and poured out 2 fifth bottles worth of charcoal booze.

We strained and filtered it with coffee filters and bottled it.

I called heaven hills distillery and asked what the number code on the barrel was related to and it was the kickin chicken! First time I ever had it and I must say, it was damn good!

I had to pick this up. Bacon and porter, how could you go wrong??
I had such high hopes for this. What do I get? A big ol' bottle of disappointment. The aftertaste made it completely undrinkable.
