I had some more Aviator after work. Devil's Tramping Ground (X2 @ 9.2%) and 2 strong Margaritas. My gf was "happy" :D

I feel like it's wrong that you liked that Cyd! @trailhugger hahahaha

Raleigh Brewing "The Miller's Toll" 10.5% Imperial Oatmeal Stout

Crikey.

Not sure how much they distribute, I've only found it at my one favorite bottle shop.

Had a Ponysaurus Scottish Ale last week, they only distribute a few places as well (saw it at wine authority near DTR today). I really want to try their Biere de Guarde (farmhouse ale)...

Meanwhile, I'm drinking Yeungling.

Ponysaurus's spot in Durham is actually pretty cool. Just go there and get a growler! Raleigh Brewing doesn't go outside of the triangle yet I don't think, I think they are working to ramp up production more.

Yeah, we need to get to Derm, I think...

We should have a meet up at Oak & Dagger sometime... they do little pours at the bottle shop "Research Library" so you don't get :poop:faced tasting 10% beers. The pub is supposed to open the end of this month, I think.

Not as good as I'd hoped.

It's better on draft but so is pretty much anything.

I was underwhelmed

I would try it on draft and might drink another, period, but it's like the root beer beers to me... maybe ok for just one if it's the best option.

I've got a friend that just moved to Asheville from Raleigh that home brews. He has a choc peanut butter Porter that has won him like 4 national awards. It's amazing. Like a milkshake with alcohol and no milk. It's also ultra high gravity. 15-16 range .

Maybe he biased me.

A full day since posting and nobody calls you out for the driver's seat pic? The internet must be scared of your retort.
I caught it immediately. I can relate.
<insert double entendre>
Raise my Stella Artois in a "cheers" motion.

Meh...fwiw I bought it on the way home. Popped it open when I got in the driveway, moved trailers around the yard and unloaded a new project ..snapped the pic when I was pulling the truck back around to the driveway

Gonna try these tonight.... It's the wife's b-day bought her a nice bottle of wine and treated myself to a mix pack.

Starting off pretty good.... Just a follow-up hint of peach...

Watch out for that Double Dog - it bites back! They only sell it as a four pack for a reason. ;-)
