Looking more closely at this beer. The brewery was established in 1597, still family owned. That in itself is pretty awesome.Black beer and pickled mushrooms, picked by my wife's grandmother.

Awesome. I'm not surprised they're closed right now anyways because of the amount of rain. I do know that there are going to be some super fat oysters around the Carolinas next year. SC and NC have the best tasting oysters out of anywhere.Possibly. We have friends that rent a place right on Bohicket creek, but I just checked the DHEC map and pretty much all of the water surrounding Johns Island is currently closed. If it opens up I’m pretty sure there’s oyster beds right off their dock.
