We did Christmas this morning, I have my daughter this year on the eve of Christmas.

This year a few days before Thanksgiving my father passed away. Something he left me was a few choice weapons of his. He was a gunsmith by hobby for 40+ years.

Specifically he left me his carry weapon, a Tisas 1911 A1 that he modified. 2.5lb trigger, wolf spring kit, wilson combat trigger, hammer & sear. He liked the plastic paddle style holster. I do not.

My GF got me a nice holster made from a leather guy in Hickory NC.

Nothing says "I love you" like a comfortable carry holster..

I haven't gotten a single thing and I'm cool with that. The one thing I wish I could have is some time with my girlfriend, but she's a little too far away.

I like that holster, it's badass!

This year I get the best gift ever for me. I have spent the last 4 years alone for Christmas. It was more of a sad time than anything for me. But with my recent engagement and soon to be stepdaughter, I get to see her face light up on Christmas morning when she unwraps everything. And since she loves my jeep so much I bought her one for herself. We will bring it out last and I will video her reaction. I look forward to taking this little girl wheeling more as she gets older and soon as it warms up I can't wait to take her camping and bring her jeep with us!

Well, we did Christmas Eve at my sister's earlier and I got a gift card to Pet Smart (for my dog, obviously), 40 bucks to get a membership at the dog park, a dog magnet for my truck, and some walkin around money. I knew most of the stuff would be for the dog anyway :D

Merry Christmas yall.

Did the Christmas thing with my Dads side of the family, family policy is pretty much buy gifts for the kids... my little cousins and my sister. I got a few bucks and a plate or two of good food... I did have a long talk with my grandfather about drinking back in the day... that was fun.
Christmas with my mom/dad/brother and little sister in the AM... Ill get clothes from my folks, probably clothes or movies from my sister, and probably beer or something 4x4 related from my brother.
Good enough for me!

Santa even stuffed a stocking for Duke!

I got lots of much needed clothes, a cast iron 3 pan set, and a nice reclining camping chair from Gander Mtn.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I thought I was the only one having bad luck. I've got sewer backing up in a rental house and I woke up to a broke furnace.
Also just found out my little one has to have surgery. yippy

But life is good! Wife and kids are happy and smiling on Christmas morning. I got a couple things I needed like a new 1/2'' dewalt drill and a pretty descent vice. I've been real hard on my tools over the last couple years during my build.

I got this cool watch.
It's self-winding, w/ a big slug inside. You can see if from the back.
Cool thing is it is transparent on both the front and back so you can see through it, every little gear etc that makes it tick.

It is big, but the picture is kind of deceiving, face is not as wide as my wrist. Also I'm not a big guy and have kind of skinny wrists.

plus I'm kinda blind so it's easier to read at a glance :D

A 5" chef's knife and a 13" French skillet. Some moonshine and some alcoholic whipped cream in a can. Toe socks, a purple tool bag, and, my favorite, a Terry's Chocolate Orange. :)
