What did you get?

I got a bunch of junk food from my sister, she likes to cook, and time with my family...thats enough for me.. looks like everyone else got some cool gifts...Merry Christmas guys
 
Wife got laid off a few days ago, so i did some work today on someone elses truckto help pay some bills.

But i am getting some good grub to eat tonight, so life is good. And the wife made some really good fudge the other day so i will eat the heck out of that all day today then have to hit the gym for a good year to work it back off, but it is darn good.
 
I got mine a couple weeks ago along with a nasty little LS a set of tons and a new set of tires.

My GF got me a nice holster made from a leather guy in Hickory NC.

Nothing says "I love you" like a comfortable carry holster..

I need to look at the paper that came with it. I think that it is. She is gonna get a belt that goes with it. That holster wears better than any holster I have..

Samsung tabs are great! I have a gal 2 10.1 I rooted it & installed a custom ROM from team Baked. works much better now than with a factory ROM.
 
The hubby gave me a Samsung Galaxy Tab3, got some clothes, jewelry and knick knacks from family. Tons of food as well. Also looks like a new dryer is in my future. Chris did a temporary fix with gorilla tape. Its always something.

My girl got me a bio lite camping stove?

I'd like to root my Galaxy S4 phone to get rid of all the crap that's on it, but I have no idea how to do any of that stuff. :rolleyes:
 
When/if you try to root it. Make sure you have the correct Gapps to go in it. android systems are useless without it.

Why would escalating user privileges to root have anything to do with what applications were installed on the device?
 
Some of the custom Rom's do not have the correct Gapps. Without the google apps it doesn't have the chrome app, or any other apps to connect to the internet. Without the Gmail app you cannot connect to the google app store to download any apps.. I couldn't get past all the errors & flags on my first custom ROM. that's how it worked for me any way..

That's not "rooting", that's installing a different operating system. Rooting is just the use of an exploit to achieve root user privileges. If he's just looking to uninstall bloatware, that's all he needs.
 
You have to Root before you can install the ROM..

Once you root, it's hard to not explore further to what can be done too.

Yeah, but nobody is talking about installing a different ROM. He just wants to uninstall bloatware.
 
thats why i gave the link to root.. I was just offering info if he wants to carry it farther.
