What do these turny things do

Anybody tell me what they think these knobs are supposed to do. Having some issues figuring out how the valves are supposed to function. Valve is on a Massey Ferguson 85.

Maybe pressure/flow regulators? I’m thinking along the lines of a pressure increase/relief valve for water lines. Spitballing. I honestly have no idea.

Once upon a time ago I built valve assemblies for control panels on drilling rigs. Those are pressure reliefs. If they work like a Husco valve, screw them in to raise pressure, out to lower. The one on the side should be the main relief (limits the max pressure for all the valves in the bank) but it doesn't appear that there is an inlet valve section...so that one is confusing me a little.

Should be a pressure relief for each outlet, but I suppose those valves could be plumbed so that each pair are run by a single relief.

I found a parts diagram for the valve assembly, it refers to the ones circled in yellow as valve assembly switches? and the red circled one as valve assembly bypass? As far as inlet valve if your referring to where the fluid comes into the valve it is in the bottom, there are 2 ports with orings. The tractors that don't have the aux hydraulics have a cap with an oil passage that connects the two ports, if that makes sense. Terrible photo of the diagram

Interesting. If I'm seeing correctly a needle/plunger, followed by a spring, that is held by that threaded fastener with the rod/o-ring setup....
Those are pressure reliefs. Not really much of a switch function IMHO.
