I am painting my wrecker and want to put a flag draping over it. But my truck color has to be orange. Here is some ruff renderings. My artist want to do it in a black flag. I am not totally sure what the black flag means. What does it mean to you all? It going to have more stuff on it like the bill of rights and maybe some other stuff.

That black flag is probably also subjective, and depends on who saw it.
Couldn't you just be non PC and ignore it, moving on not paying attention?

Think the black looks best but also like the colors with black outline on the bottom. Don't see any meanings behind it just matching colors

What about making the flag a different color if your worried about black. Silver, smoke grey, etc.

Why not leave the cab white, and the wrecker body orange? Then you could keep the flag as Merican as possible.

Offhand, don't like the black...somebody meeting on the highway would think tony the tiger or Fuller. Not distinctive at speed.

I don't like the flag-to-flame look either. Trying to do too much at one time. And makes it look like a tattered flag that ought to be retired, not something to be proud of.

I'd do a more photo-realistic flag wrap on the hood, fenders, doors, the orange paint on the bed, boom, lower rockers, roof, etc. A wrap design along these lines (from a random image search):

.We are in the planning stages right now I have about a week to figure out what I want and like. This is the first stuff he sent me.
My rollback is orange and silver and black with flames looks like it is burning the paint off to expose riveted panels. I will try to get a pic of it and post. he reason I want use orange is it different than any other tow service around here also I just like orange.
