What have you done for your health today?

I am very out of shape and a few months ago I got back on my mountain bike for the first time in several years. We hit the Kernersville mountain bike trail and I really couldn’t do much more than a 1/2 mile at a time without being out of breath. Today I completed the full 3.7 mile trail with out stopping. I did walk a short climb but we did not take a break. Still a long way from were id like to be but definitely progress.

Effort brings success.
Stick to it my friend!

did about 7 miles in total walking on Friday

GPS glitched for a min

Still working out on a daily basis with our "group". We have about 7 people(including wife and I) that show up just about every day to throw some weight around. The gym is getting a huge makeover at the moment. I was lucky enough to find a rogue infinity rig in SC and was able to buy almost everything I need to build a two platform wall mounted rig. Just need to buy a few crossmembers from Rogue and it will be set. Sold my half rack squat stand in the same day as well.

All the parts

One rig partially assembled. The dirty south bar on the side is temporary until I get can more crossmembers from Rogue.

Super excited for the future of our little garage gym. Still buying more weight, equipment, etc and the good news is I can still use the garage for the Willys and for the wife's jeep. I think right now we have around 3k invested. Not a bad investment for our health at all.
