What is your daily driver?

Same situation as @justjeepin86

2010 Toyota Sienna with 178k miles. Bought it as a lease vehicle in 2011 with 36k on it. I got hit in the back 2 yrs ago (not my fault) and it was totaled. I fixed it and put it back on the road. Dollar per mile cost has to be super low. I drop my son off at school every morning, and pick him up from my inlaws after work about 2 days a week. I just throw my bicycle in the back once a week to ride during lunch and don't have to worry about it. I'm of the same mindset as @CasterTroy .

I need to add .. my car is a company car but I will need to pick a Replacement. My company is very small and I try to be a good Stewart of the spending
Also I my youngest child is a senior in college so I've got no kids to run around. Just me, to and from the office and to construction sites

I like cheap beaters for a daily driver. I tried a new car, had a 2021 Mazda 3 for a year, but I just don't want to own/drive a new car.

Current daily is the same old $400 2000 Mazda Protege I've had for several years. And once I get it put back together, a 2001 Chevy Tracker will share daily duties.

Wife has new stuff as her daily, she has a 2023 Kia Soul and a 2018 Dodge Durango.
Ha. I had an 02 proetege5 for a decade. Loved the car, drove it till it was literally falling apart too bad to keep. Was happy w the $500 trade in.
Now Im DDing an '18 Mazda3. 6spd 2.5.
I really love the car for a reliable DD. Fun to drive, the P/W ratio is just enough to be a lot of fun and I'm rarely wanting more. It's the last of the few models still available with a stick.

2022 f250 7.3 gasser. I’m the biggest thing in the school line behind the buses.

bought a new 2018 EcoSport in 2019, 1.0 3cyl turbo. loved it. put 15k on it and averaged 30mpg over 15k miles....traded it in for my wife to have some $$$ for her new ride in 2021. loved it.

drove her old 2012 Captiva with 190k for a while, loved it. 20mpg . fuel, oil changes, tires, just get in and drive

bought a 95 318ti back in may....current DD. 210k, rattly interior but heat/ac works and brand new tires. custom exhaust because that's what I do. it's a gokart.

I can't wrap my head around selling my half ton.
It's a 2002 silverado work truck with crank windows and no options. And 300+k miles.

I have a bigger truck now so I don't use it to do truck things, but it's dead reliable, I know it inside and out and can fix pretty much anything with the tools I carry with me.

Somewhat of a sentimental value too. I've been in 33 states with it.

It also helps that I will die before I'm spending what the purchase price of a newer car is these days. Prices are insaaaaane !

2022 Ram Rebel.

Best and worse financial decision of my life. Killed a deer with it around 1,200 miles on the odometer. (Technically my GLOCK killed it, but the truck snapped it's spine.)

Prior to this, the newest rig I ever owned was a 2006 Ram 2500. It was fantastic, except for the heat not working and the stinkin' window guards kept flying off. Once a month, when I make the 2022's payment, I REALLY wish I still had it's paid off-ness.

2020 Mazda MX-5 Club with the 6 speed. Pulls around 40-42 on my commute. Does not, however, meet any of your criteria.
The new generation of Miatas sure do look good. How's the power? And how's the fuel economy if you use the power?

The power is great and pulls hard all the way to the 7500 RPM redline. It has enough torque to accelerate to pass in 6th, but why do that when dropping to 3rd or 4th sounds so much more fun. The economy takes a dive for sure, but I've not stayed in it too much. I'll know more after my trip to VIR or the Back of the Dragon.

Currently it is an 03 Mazda Protege5, 5spd with ~200k on the clock. It was my wife's DD in 2010 when we got married, and I have been driving it for the last 10 yrs. It is pretty boring, but is pretty dependable.

I'm currently eyeing the Ford Maverick hybrid. Getting 60mpg looks interesting. And it's boring enough to not think about. But it's not a Honda norr Toyota so I have to consider cost of operation

I have been looking at them too. Having drove a 2wd mini-truck for years, I would like to find another. I dont need a truck for "truck thing", but having a bed to throw parts and other "dirty" items in would be nice. The fact that it gets good fuel mileage makes it more appealing to me. If Honda had put a 4cyl in the ridgeline, that got decent fuel mileage, it might be on the list too.

I'm 5'7" and ride with the seat almost all of the way back. I'd say 6' is about the limit for comfort.
I'm a SMIDGE over 6 ft but I have a tall torso. I've sat in several over the years in hopes they would redesign the floor to sit lower with no luck. In the convertibles I'm always staring directly at the bar across the top of the windshield with the seat in the lowest/most back position.
We won't talk about the "too fat" part

My first gen Miata fit me...I was snug, but commuted in it often, even w/ the soft top up (rain)

Seats played a huge part, in newer ones - my head was pushing up the roof
