Yes you do. I've seen more than one largish copperhead wandering around by the boat slips at the Commodore Yacht Club when we kept the boat there. They didn't look very happy.
 
My dog got bit by a copperhead, right here in the same yard where I took the picture in the original post. My wife heard our 2 dogs going berserk, then saw the snake clamped on one of their noses. The dog was flinging it around, wife said it was pretty long. I came home and the doggies nose was swelled up like a softball. 2 nights in the emergency vet, and we were good.

BTW, I havent seen the king/milk/corn/black/rat snake since I posted. I let him live, hopefully he's out eating the frogs rats that duper in my driveway.
