Dont worry about destroying the web! You gotta get the spider....webs cant spell!! Its the freaking spiders that do it....KILL THE SPIDERS ! Or they will build another web and remember your name later. You gotta take em out man, smear em on the ground....nothin but a stain......lol

We had one between a bush outside our master bath window and the corner of the house. My wife and her son (age 22) freaked out and hollered for me to come identify and kill it. After the I.D, I refused to kill it, stating their purpose in life. The other day I noticed it was missing, web and all. I asked my wife if she knew what happened to "my spider". She said she killed it. So, I'm in mourning.
 
Those are freakin' big but kinda cool looking. They wouldn't last around my house as the standing order is "kill ALL spiders"....
