What's it worth? 2003 S10 Grandpa Edition

As the only car guy in the family, I have been asked to get my wifes grandparents fleet sold. I will be taking in their One owner, 2003 S10, old-man beige, extended cab, 2wd, 4.3l, 113k on the clock. I gave it a tune-up a few months ago and I will be doing a full detail and fixing any of the odds and ends it may need. Wondering what the current market value is on these 2wd units. A quick search shows asking prices in the $10k-$2k range, I would guess $7k as a starting point, but I typically watch the market for my stuff for months before posting and have a better finger on the pulse of what is selling and what is sitting.

Take those months to actually sell it

List it 'high' $7k? and slowly lower it until it sells

Then you'll know what its worth

The quality of the ad/pics will go a long way to getting serious buyers andnot time wasters
