I do good about not losing tools. Especially after "HELL NO" became the standard answer to requests to borrow them.
My problem is loosing parts. I have some parts I have been sitting on 25 or more years, because I scrounged them, got too good of a deal, a good trade, etc. Parts are (mostly) halfway organized on shelving in my connex box. But just tonight, I spent well over an hour hunting for a steering shaft, new in box. Knew exactly what the box looked like, size, etc. But still hard to find.

After creating this post,... I went into my shop and walked right to my air gauge! All along, I thought I was looking for a blue one! NOPE! It was chrome! Hanging right where I had put it(so I could find it)!
