efi conversion?
I personally just shut her down for 30 mins when I see steam, it’s pretty effective so farY'all have gauges? Fancy!

I mean if your saying that... when is the Kenny Bell supercharger getting put on?OEM Ford electronics and ECM. EEC4 for you yougins.
It's literally a 92 Mustang GT under the hood and it's controls.

You haven’t been following his previous build, he tried terminator and hated it, went back to obd1 controlSeeing as how you are going all new shindigs, Id look into upgrading the ecc iv to the holley standalone kit. works native with the GT tfi system. It comes with a 4in screen that eliminates the need for gauges completely. And you would always have the future option to upgrade to an iPad in the future, lots of hubs work native with it.
Otherwise lots of guys seem to be running the PiMP system (or microsquirt).
With the holley you would gain the self tuning - but either way you would be able to have your own control over the tuning and not be married to mailing the ecc off or doing extravagant data logging intermixed with very spread out trail runs.
If you get the Holley kit, youll
Spend $1300 on the system
Gain self tuning
Gain wide availability for remote tuning
Save $1500 on guages
Clean up engine harness to a standalone
Future proof for future mods
Anywho. Just my cheap 2cents from the 2x4 corner of the streets
I got a BIL who is a foxbody guru, and has built several race cars. He said he was willing to chat anytime to help maximize simplicity, tuning, etc (I know you were a fox body guy too)

Ain't no way I'm going with Holley stand alone for this application. The more folks I speak with who have aftermarket EFI on offroad rigs, the more reasons I won't. They have their place for sure. Especially racers. For a regular dooder like me, hard pass.
My OEM EFI has been totally trouble free for years. It's gonna stay.
I've decided to go OG with mechanical gauges for simplicity and also less (potentially problematic) wiring and electronics.
New ones gonna be clean and simple everywhere possible.
I have been reading more and more about these same things, on offroad rigs. I am looking to convert my 351w to EFI, so trying to figure out what way to go. Currently have a Holley kit sitting on the shelf from a previous project. Also, trying to clear an EB hood makes things not as simple, because I need a lowpro intake. Thanks buddy

Edelbrock EFI lower (carb style) with elbow and OEM EFI controls would work. Only thing is a lot of those styles are more for higher RPM applications.I have been reading more and more about these same things, on offroad rigs.
