Where to buy a reman 4.0

So the engine in my jeep is shot. I am in need of a reman 4.0 engine. I am wondering where I could start looking for one. Any help will be appreciated.

I could fit one of those cockroach engines between the number 5 connecting rod and the crank.

Wow how in the hell did you blow a 4.0

Have had good service out of the oreillys 5.4 we put in one of the work trucks. I was sceptical but it hasn't missed a beat.

It was just tired. And not taken care of by po. Head gasket blew, head possibly cracked, timing chain had an insane amout of play in it, sludge was unreal, and number 5 connecting rod had alot of play between it and the crank.

@Blaze this dude hooked me up beyond compare. I know he is getting out of the business but bet he can either get you one he has or point you in the right direction. He is a stand up guy too.

We put a junkyard motor from car-part.com or LKQ (can't remember) into our 97 XJ. Came with a warranty. It works great.

I would put in a used motor with lower miles before forking over money for a reman 4.0
