Anyone headed out there? I know quite a few of y’all are headed out there racing and doing out support. Who all is going? I considered going, not sure yet.

Something I was thinking about... I have a diesel pusher that sleeps 6 and was thinking about heading out there. But, I can’t take that much time off. Maybe it makes sense a few guys want to take it out west in exchange for leaving at least a spot for me to sleep? :D

has a 10k hitch and trailer brakes. :)

anyway, who’s going?

Wish we would have known that a month ago haha. Would have saved my buddy $40k on his big diesel pusher. Lol.

I’m going with ken Carter and impaks racing #4620.

My wife and dad are also going. A couple wheeling buddies are also going to help in the pits.

Most are leaving Wednesday for the drive. I’m leaving Friday and flying.

Swing by genright 213 if you make it out.

I can usually plan to go to KOH and have the RV, even a car trailer, but just can’t take the time off to drive out there and back.

if someone can take that time and needs a place to stay, we can work together :)

If someone wants to drive the pusher out there, I’ll lend the pusher. Just leave me somewhere to sleep! :)

it can pull 2 buggies on a trailer. :D

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Could be open to doing something next year. Hit me up in like November

That's what I was thinking, cant do it with such short notice but with a little planning no problem. Always been in my bucket list.

Me too. I just can’t take that much time off typically. Work varies every year. Not sure about next year. But I could probably fly out for a few days, even last minute. But, driving, no can do.

Yeah bucket list...and I do NOT have a bucket list. No wives, no kids, just go soak it up.

My parents have a Revolution too, it's been a good rig. Theirs is an 04 or 05, they use it to haul Daddy's RamCharger when we wheel. I was planning to go this year, but obviously can't make it. Might try for next year depending on how my job situation works out, might have to wait another year. Good luck to the racers and safe travels to everyone!

I’m planning for 2021 again. I’ll probably haul my buggies out there, spend a few days at the hammers then head to Big Bear with the family for a few days of skiing once KOH is over

The revolutions are hard to beat for the $. Good chassis, good engine and trans options. Just wish it had the ISL instead of the ISC but it works out good.

the only thing I’m really disappointed in is the headlights. Maybe I’m not used to them but I feel like they could use an upgrade.

No fries statement no wives, gf or kids is based on what? Experience ? Rumors? KOH is an amazing experience. For me it’s up there with the Indy 500,NASCAR, NHRA and many other motor sport events. It’s unique in they put 80 k + people in the middle of a desert for a week. I’m fortunate to be able to go but even more fortunate to share it with some of my best friends, my son and my daughter-in-law. When our family of friends go rock crawling wives, gf and children are an intricate part of our trips. I think you are selfish and irresponsible to your family.

I agree with you in principle, but some guys wives are a lot more high-maintenance than mine...

I wouldn't want to spend a week on the lakebed (or much else) with that sort of person. ;)

There Is a difference between wanting your family to go and not wanting them to go because because they are not grown up males. There are a million of reasons not to go and it takes a lot a resources to go. At least you should have a choice male , female, gf ,or young. I’m able to go because of the opportunity provided by Bruiser and Impacks Racing. He is amazing in his commitment to racing ,his job and most importantly his family. I’ll speak for him inthat I’m sure he would like to have his whole family there. They had that choice but not all could go. What if Shannon Campbell kept his kids at home?
