Who has experience with GM 2500's?

Stock wheels for 99-20xx? (2010 maybe?) Chevy 1500HD, suburban HD, 2500/HD, 3500 SRW trucks. 16" size gives lots of cheap tire options, they are super light (for a truck wheel), can be had for cheap, and look good on the older trucks.:

Those 33" bfg on that wheel?

If the PO towed with it and had a bad trailer harness, the turn signal switch turns into a fuse when they start plugging in bigger fuses cause it won't stop blowing them. o_O sometimes solved by unplugging the T harness for the tow connector.

No idea. Just a pic I grabbed off the internet. They look about the same as the 285/75r16's I had on mine, which equates to a 32.8x11.2.

Got the rear lights fixed harness was unplugged and bad bulbs mainly harness tho bc it took 3rd light and license tag light when not plugged up! I like those wheels but in a wired way I like the ones on it also lol

Be careful of the transfer case. The oil slinger/pun thingy can come loose after many miles and start rubbing on the inside of the case and eventually wear a small hole in it. If not careful, it can drain your oil and lock up the case. This is a fairly common issue.

It happened to me years ago while traveling out of town 5+ hours and I know of several others it has happened to. It's an easy fix if you catch it early but it requires pulling of the case and disassembly.

Only real way to check it is by pulling the case so unless you see an oil leak coming from the case housing, it's a guessing game as to whether or not it's in good shape internally.

With that many miles, I'd bed $ that it is rubbing the case but maybe hasn't worn a hole in the case yet.

Is there any noise vibration associated with tcase issue you mentioned? I have a slight vibration when I go from a dead stop seems to be worse turning right goes away after I get going tho

Turning left not right... seems like a grind I can feel it In gas pedal

That may be a cause of bearings going out. May be tires or driveshafts. Not sure. I never had any vibration issues when mine got damaged.

I jacked truck up and didn't have any wobble in either tire I figured I would to be honest. also have a very high pitch whistle from stop to 30mph then kinda goes away.

Any possible way this could be the rear axle? I get the heavy grind/vibration when turning left from a dead stop but when going from stop straight or left it's just a slight vib/grind I put truck up again and check hub out didn't have any play could bearings still be bad with no play in em?? all ujoints looked good I rolled rear axle while jacked and didn't hear anything front had a little resistance and subtle noise but nothing terribly noticeable! I know that means nothing without weight and load but worth takin a look I guess. Still have slowish acceleration with fuel pump but new pump I noticed only giving out 55psi 59 max in throttle I'm assuming it's partial blame... it feels like 1st gear is just non existent with power, I'm gonna put it on a good scanner next week to see if it's showing somethings offi just hope it's not trans issue diff tcase I can deal with can afford a trans problem tho

Yes it could be a wheel bearing even if it didn't have any play in it. (Frozen up roller or two will do it. Seen a few times but not very common.. usually they are worn out by the time I get called) Trans wouldn't depend on direction, only speed, load, acceleration, & engine speed. Might could use a stethoscope if you get all four off the ground, put her in 4h and listen to the hubs.. or if you spin it by hand and listen with a stethoscope either you sometimes can tell.

Ok going to try with scope to listen for hubs
