Who has had "DAS RONA"

I've got it right now. Started Monday with just a scratchy throat. By Tuesday I felt worn out and had chills. Fever and aches Tuesday night into Wednesday. Wednesday brought a slight headache and cough. Everything tasted weird Wednesday. Never lost taste or smell. Today everything tastes fine and I'd swear my sense of smell is better than it was before which is weird.

Got tested today and it was positive. 10 days out of work.

I've been medicating with Advil and Tylenol during the day and NyQuil at night. It might be the meds, but other than a slight cough, I feel fine tonight. We'll see how I feel when I wake up in the morning.

Monoclonal antibody treatment has helped everyone I know who has had it recently. A guy at work gave Covid to his 94yr old mother in law and she was 100% better in 3 days after she had the treatment.

I had Covid August 2020, wife and daughter had it that December. I was down for a week. In bed a few days. Wife and 2 month old had a cold.

The day I tested pos the last thing the DR told me was to NOT sleep on my back, stomach or side only and as much as possible get up and move around at least 10 mins every two hours.

I have it, hit me Saturday morning...chills, mild fever, headache - smelling food made me gag, but not vomiting or diarrhea. Sunday through today - coughing, no fever, a little fatigue.

Bored.

I had it at the end of july, fought it the best i could but ended up spending about 6 days in UNC.

When I went to get tested, I rolled up and the kid checked my blood oxygen level and it was 82%. He said and I quote " Yea you probably have it with it reading like that. You want to see a doctor?" I politely asked if i had to and when he said no, I slung the truck in drive and rode my happy ass home. Two days later the wife is hauling me to the hospital cause i havent budged an inch on the couch. If it weren't for her, I'd probably be dead.

I had it a week ago, my helper at work gave it to me. Had fever of like 99.8-99.9 for a few hours for one day. Tested negative that day but tested positive 2 days later with no symptoms at all. Worked from home for my 5 days and rolled on with life.

Had it Apr 2020.

May have had the new one a few weeks ago. Smell and taste affected, fever, aches.

Better now 🤷🏼‍♂️

I assume myself and my wife had it about a month ago. Never got tested, felt bad for about a day, but even then not stuck in bed. She stayed in bed one day till about 1pm but after that was kind of back to normal. Both lost our smell is the only reason I assume it was the Rona.

**If it matters, both unvaxxed

Question is, is Sarge ok?

I have avoided it so far. Got 2 sticks but not the third yet. Son and his girlfriend got what was suspected as the omicron over christmas. Both had 2 sticks. Both had mild cases with some low fever and sore throat. Another acquaintance got it right before Christmas. He was a conscientious objector and was unvaxed. Went in the hospital after christmas and died 3 weeks later. He said he regretted not get vaccinated right before he went into the hospital. Many of his family members promptly got vaccinated.

Turned 11 on Christmas Eve and somehow still going strong. We keep waiting for him to show real signs of his age (as in, mobility issues), but so far he has none.

Took him and Rango (6? Year old blue heeler) to Tractor Supply and a guy there thought Sarge was younger, said he would have guess about 4. Oh how I wish that were true....

My wife popped a positive. Was a ‘little’ more tired than usual, and we had just gotten back from vacation, so decided to get tested. Outside of feeling a little more tired than usual (what’s that mean with 3 kids under the age of 5), she had no other symptoms. She finished her 5 day quarantine on Saturday. My 3yo (who tested positive on Christmas 2020) and 4yo haven’t been able to go back to school yet, but haven’t tested positive and no symptoms. The 7 month old had a check up on Monday and was tested and is fine. Ive been doing rapids, daily for work since last Tuesday, and so far so good.

I’m officially free of the Covid! Sort of… I tested negative yesterday after three weeks of having it. But I still have pneumonia and fuzzy lung. Doc tells me I have another 10-14 weeks of breathing like I was a heavy smoker for 30 years. I’m alright as long as I don’t move to quick or need a deep breath. If I try to do too much it means a self imposed time out to rest and let my lungs catch up. Highest pulse ox I’ve had since I was sick was 92% and that was this morning. I am getting better but it’s very difficult to only run at 1/2 speed.

I’m unvaccinated due to a suppressed immune system and I’m staying unvaccinated.

Get well soon!

Yeehaw!!!! I finally got it for sure!! Tested positive on the 2nd. The day before, I had a crappy little cold that had me dragging slightly. I then find out that several coworkers had it as well and couldn't come into work. Now I'm not allowed back to work for a few days to week(?) I feel guilty I can't be there to work knowing we're 5 people short. This sucks. On a plus side I get to go camping for a solid week or so.

MY Dr told me it would probably be 4-6 weeks before the fatigue would pass,After about a week I was mostly back to normal. It took Tonya about three weeks.Hopefully it wont take as long as they say.

My Daughter had it about 1.5 weeks ago. She developed a cough and we went to have her tested since they had 2 kids in her class get it the week prior. She tested positive and was home all last week. Never had any other symptom than a cough and never let it slow her down. Wife and I have felt fine this whole time. My brother in law got it and was out of work for 2.5 weeks.

Me. October of 2020. The original strain of Covid.
Kicked my ass pretty hard. But i whooped it's ASS!

The Rona chose to fuck with an old cranky Bastard who is a Vet, been through a divorce and really doesn't give a shit anymore.
The Rona Virus lost. And Fuck Joe Biden.
He is the Antichrist.
