This but throw in wet towels on the floor and empty water/gatorade bottles everywhere.
around here it is drinking containers.
Water bottles, glasses, cups.... its like they breed and wander on their own.

My wife can't finish a drink to save her life. She will leave 1-2 ounces in a 12oz can. So now she started buying 8oz cans, and still leave 0.5-1oz in there. Regular size glass of tea will still have 2" in the bottom when shes done. She just cain't do it.

Wounded soldiers. My wife will finish the hell out of mine but there's probably 4 sundrop bottles in the fridge with an inch of sundrop on the bottom.

@ramjo stayed with my buddy and his wife when he was in Charleston doing some work on their house. Pretty sure he heard the same argument everyday about her leaving an unfinished coke can somewhere in the house.

I would just go ahead and finish the drink for my wife and oldest. My youngest is probably the gnarliest back washer I’ve ever seen. Since I don’t like chunky water or juice, I have since stopped that practice because back wash roulette is not a game I like playing.

I started just telling them, No new drink until that one is finished. Oh, it warm, flat and 20% backwash? Well thats your problem.
Of course that just led to them being left our indefinitely and sneaking a new one when Daddy isn't looking.

Oh yeah, awhile ago when a 19 you nephew was living with us (who was even worse about this, and I pin as the original influencer) we started using a tab-turning system on cans to ID whose is whose. This avoids me picking up my son's warm flat backwash can he sneakily stuck at my place at the table.
Which also means I can ID the perp.... well until they realized it was easy to just pin the deed on another family member by moving the tab.

Its always an arms race around here.

My oldest nephew is 30 and he STILL does this crap.

He will leave half empty water bottles all over creation.
