Today marks 30 pounds I've lost since January 16th when we bought the treadmill

4 miles every other night and cutting back on meal size, and no sodas

Congrats, I've quit drinking sodas, which was a big step, not to really lose weight, but I just feel better. I'm not as tired all the time.

Oh, and stay on that treadmill.

congrats !!! Keep it up !!! Where is the before and after pics !!!

soda---
I too have cut 90% SODA and drink water now.. I don't really miss it and I agree I actually feel better... Now if i could drop the sweet tea.......

 OK, imagine a barrel sittin on 2 broomsticks  There's your before ;)

Unfortunatly, this isn't just a temporary diet :shaking: this will be what I HAVE to do to stay "low fat" for the rest of my life

Congrats.....

I've just given up the Mountain Dew (my elixer of life for the last 15 years) & drinking the piss (pun intented) out of Le Bleau water (80-100 oz a day).

I told the wife I'd make changes when I hit 300.....well, chit!

I'm gettin' all of my exercise going to the head!

Wow Troy.. that's impressive.. Maybe you won't need the "fat boy" edition Corbeau's now.. :)

Keep at it!

Thanks

My only issue now, is I'm so damn purty that all the women in the office gather around my desk and won't leave

Actually the only issue is CLOTHES....losing weight is EXPENSIVE. I've gone from a 42x32 to a 36x32 and had a layover in 38x32-ville where I bought 3 pairs of jeans. Just bought 3 more (36's) last friday, and now I gotta buy shirts :shaking: I look stupid in these big shirts that use to be tight.

I can't afford a whole new wardrobe

Try the flavored waters from WalMart, they have a huge selection, all taste great, have ZERO sugar or calories, and they're 2 for a buck!

The wife and I just got one of Tony Little's Gazelle thingies, now we just need to get used to the idea of getting ON the blamed thing more than once every two weeks or so...

30lbs IS an impressive feat. At 32 I am glad I still have the metabolism of a teenager. But it is starting to catch up.

The QFE diet seems to be the rage now man.

...the scary part is I think he "bleached" his hair too and possibly spray on tan!

Scared the heck outta me when he dropped by the house last night...I thought one of the back street boys had dropped in for a visit! :flipoff2:

Dude..you are making me look bad... Hey I think I have a picture of my treadmill...

bit hard to see, it is under the big piece of tan leather heh.

I bought it a couple years ago, haven't lost any weight. Sometimes I will turn it on and let it run for several hours while I go in the living room to watch tv...but man I need to get the model you are using! Mine must not be working right! :)

Grats...I have to get serious too...sigh..

Sam...owns dusty workout equipment...Hinton

Now THATS something that does a heart good....seeing a northern boy that is just as addicted to sweet tea as all us southerners:flipoff2:

Congrats dude! Just to rub it in. If I lost 30 lbs, I'd dissapear! Amazing how everyone that quits drinking soda (pop) (cokes) feels better. Hmmmm...

Yes, losing weight is expensive but it feels so good doesn't it? :D When I weighed 180 pounds, I was up to a 36, now I'm down to a 30 and pretty much plan on staying there for a looooong time. :D
