I had the Flu and pneumonia for a week... so my year seems to have been spectacular! 
Reading the dead beat parent posts kills me. I couldn't begin to imagine having parents like that. From what I know of each of you that shared your stories, you seem to be stronger because of it. Kudos to you for not falling into the same rut as them.
