Why did my thread get moved/deleted? Admin????

Since I don't know who is the General Chit Chat admin is, I can't ask them directly. I posted a thread this morning with my thoughts on the Michael Cohen debacle, and was very respectful in my language. When I get home from work, it's been moved/deleted. Why? If it was for my language, or a concept that you feel should not be discussed here, please tell me so. If it was moved as a result of someone else's comments, wouldn't it make more sense to delete the offending comments?
