Now Lord knows I love me some Milwaukee tools and they have too much of my cash. But why do you need an electric pruning shear. If the branch is small enough to fit in that mouth, cant you just manually prune it?

Or old people. There's a long handle version (at least with Ryobi) that I thought was interesting if you're not able to handle a pole saw.

Depending on the weight of this thing it could be very beneficial pruning Crape myrtles in the winter. Sometimes you have hundreds or even thousands of small branches that have to be removed. On a commercial level I actually prune crapes, Jap Maples, and various small ornamentals for a couple of weeks each year and believe me the hands cramp like crazy squeezing hand pruners. I have one home with two large Jap Maples, 5 Crapes, and a Kousa Dogwood that I will spend at least a day for just those. These are actually very cool! I'm going to look into a pair! :laughing:
 
wait - people actually prune things?
Is this why I can't get to my front door without being attacked by limbs on those big ass bushes?

Who says you have to use it as a Pruner? First thing that came to mind was a mini jaws of life. There has to be a host of varying non coverable limited life time warranty uses for it depending on how strong it is. (I haven't looked at the specs)

Not sure about the pruning shears but the PVC cutter is damn irreplaceable. Back in the day i had 300+ cuts if 1.5" Sch 80 for a job in one day. After using that tool i never touched a hand pvc cutter again!

for the exact same reason I have a battery powered grease gun, after years of manually squeezing my hands can’t do it anymore.
I’ve got powered tools for as much as I can get away with now.
None are “high dollar” but they all have their purpose. Most have been bought on sale.
Todays delivery was something I’ve been watching for a while. I have several M12 tools, and 4 of the small 1.5ah batteries.
this came with charger, 4ah battery and the 3/8” ( $159 cyber Monday @HD)

but I bet those powered pruners would cut copper cable…..that most home gamers would mess with on the regular.
