Troy Baker on Instagram: “Listen with sound, and wait for it #carolinatrailblazers #ctb #nc4x4 #H8MUD #racelinewheels #oliversdriveshaft #RCV #advancedadapters…”
I'm posting this to reserve a spot for the pictures and videos that will follow. But I had to get this embarrassing video of Chris out there for the world to see.
Kidding aside, I really have to brag on Chris for a minute. We had two different people at the store ask us to tag along. A family in a lock XJ on 35s, and a young college guy in a 4-door JK on 37's with a Dana 30 and open on both ends. We told the young guy follow at your own risk but you're more than welcome, and Chris told the family Bring It On. Shortly at the trail we had a stack of rocks and the XJ snapped the driver side U-joint on the short shaft. Chris went and got his personal spare and replaced it and made the repair on the spot.
A short while later we were in a rutted-out muddy Hill Climb and the XJ snapped the passenger side U-joint. Several other members help them change that one.
I was very proud of Chris for stepping up and jumping right in there. I was also very proud of the club and for what it stands for and for being protective of everyone, even non-members that we meet in a parking lot.
Awesome trip, awesome people, awesome club
A very special thank you to Shane and Corey for guidance and knowledge of the trail systems and for all the spotting and help
