Statesville is closer to charlotte area, they have plenty meets out there.

Could even do Hams in Kernersville, was there the other night, 75 cent drafts, outdoor area, big dining area. Closer to Charlotte, the more complicated it gets because that area does meets I beleive every other week already
 
There Is also a large parking lot beside hams. Some kind of doctors office I think.

Good to meet you guys. Hopefully this will continue to get more people showing up.

Yeah we went up there on friday, part of a group for a graduation, about 40 or so of us, no problems getting seated. Food came quickly. My buddys little brother and a few of his friends I know graduated so we went, drank a few cold beers, couple good lookin gals at the bar. Yes though, LOTS of parking, right off 421.
 
yea i know it closer to the charlette area we trying ot make it in the middle for everyone i mean i am playing with what i heard in meeting but kville works too just we got to think about the people in yakin and all we go to far they wont show
 
Thing is
Raliegh has a big meet, so does charlotte.

Greensboro is pretty much dead center, it would generally pull the most members from the in between areas. Your not thinking about the people from Greensboro/Burlington/etc... Statesville is almost an hour drive for me, I figure about the same for most everyone around here. Kville is about 15-20, Oakridge, about 15-20.

I know we have alot of members in Stokesdale, so Oakridge would be a good area, but our only real option that way would be Looneys or Rio Grande.

I know we have alot in greensboro and Kvegas, and surely walkertown. Kville is easily accessed from Stokesdale by running through walkertown, easy from Greensboro by hitting 421, easy from highpoint by hitting 311. I would lean toward Kville honestly.
 
Ok guys we are overthinking this just a little its just to hang out and talk, maybe have it one place and the next have somewhere else then back to the first place? now just figure out where? Where ever we have it we need to figure out somwhere where we wont cook it was hot as hell in that parking lot today, alright thats my two cents for what its worth.:beer:
 
yea understand that just we need to figer all this out and how we will do it . i think one week winston next greensboro then kville
 
I haven't shown up yet But winston is in the middle. I can't speak for everyone in this area but if I drive to statesville I'm half way to the queen city. Greensboro and Charlotte are about the same distance for me.
I have planned on coming for the last 3 weekends but something has just came up or my wife had to work. I was ready to go today but someone called in and she stayed to 4. But I am planning on coming this coming weekend where every it is. What kind of turn out have ya'll had and has anyone thought of starting local 4 wheel group?
 
yea i was talking about starting a club up here just need more people and what places yall can think of meeting at
 
ok been thinking here how we will do this every other week we will move to a diffrent place winston kville then greensboro i mean from what i am getting that would be best i mean i know guys in yakenville that will go to kville idk about gboro and if we get adnofe people i will start a club up for local guys and gals around here

I am a new member on here, and am just getting my FJ rolling now, and am dying to get out there in it. I am in Winston all the time, and will be glad to go to K'ville or G'boro any time too.
 
Campbell had said something about a book of local car shows. Maybe we should look into where those shows are at and aim for that. If a restaraunt is holding car shows we know they are big enough to hold a few offroaders and they must have a decent location.

Wendys on 158 in walkertown had a car show last weekend that spilled into the lowes parking lot, seemed to work out have a large lot right next to them for overflow. I think hams in kvegas would be good but kpd would probably think differently if we are in the lot beside hams
 
Ham's off of I-40 which is next to Four Seasons Mall would be perfect.

Right off the interstate/Right next to the mall and everything else/outdoor seating/central location. I am surprised no one has thought of it already.


What do you guys think?
 
i like the ideas i am thinking maybe the parking lot next to sheetz in walkertown so it is in the middle of everyone and busy roads what yall think

I used to know some folks who liked to hang at the sheetz, forsyth sheriffs didn't like that. may need to get permission first.
 
already took care of that i know the store manager she said as long we pick up after are selfs then she fine

yes 3 is what i am thinking and i will be there alittle earlyer then everyone to pick up so if we leave anything then i know at least bec she is a good friend and i cant do her wrong
