Is this meet going on this Sunday June 6, 3p at the Sheetz on 5180 Reidsville Road
Walkertown, NC 27051-9770? That's what I am piecing together from the past few posts? If it is different, please post so no one gets confused from my post. I'm looking forward to whatever is decided on. Thanks.

Getting ready for a birthday dinner, need more planning between events. Considering folks don't seem overly interested I have a thought, always works.

Someone needs to have a cookout, and if someone has a car we can crush/beat to hell, that always helps.
 
I missed it bc I got a call to help a friend move out last minute. Fun. I will say no to them next time.
 
i mean i have worked with yall trying to make it easyer for people saying make easyer for people at greensboro but this time im doing it saterday at 2 at arbys in yakenville or how ever u spell it if need directions call me or message me
 
Yadkinville...Great meeting you and your GF today. I hate the turn out was so small(just us LOL) But I'm glad Wendi's was right behind us.

the real problem is your rushing this, and you change the event location every week. NAXJA is planning a meet in charlotte next week, I will probably be riding along with a friend for that, but its been planned for a month, should be atleast 20 of us, everyone is bringing something to cookout.

I would say set a date and time down the road, set a location, and see who RSVP's, give it a months notice atleast.

Not trying to hate or put down, love the enthusiasm and effort, just have done this before and it definately takes some planning.
 
i mean it is a weekly thing i mean just i need more people to commit to it bec hooters had best turn out so far just if you going to show say so , because im trying to get up some stuff i rented the lot yesterday for 20 bucks yesterday that is why im pissed off
 
well I showed up about 3:45 didnt see any group of trucks/jeeps in parking lot so I left. Was anyone still there? Who did you pay $20 to to rent the lot?

I agree with XJ, give more notice and start making a list of who is definitely showing up and who is a maybe.
 
there was 2 jeeps sitting there couldnt miss us and i payed the management company of the property, yea i try to let people know next day or same day but i will make a list of meet places and time for the mouth tomorrow

Just an example of how I would do it, if I planned it now, I could for sure be there because I have over 3 weeks notice.

(THIS IS NOT A SET DATE/TIME ANYTHING, JUST AN EXAMPLE FOLKS)

Once you do an established meet like this, you get to meet more people, more get to meet you, and then next time around, say a bi monthly meeting, more will say "Oh the last meeting went well, we should go" and as time goes by if necessary a weekly meeting could even be justified.

I think most on here would agree you seem to have more of a sense of how things should be done when it comes to getting this thing rolling, and at least I can understand your spelling:rolleyes: Would you mind heading up this idea?

Otherwise this is going to keep going in circles like it has for the past few weeks and we'll never establish a decent turn out.

How about giving some options as to place and some dates(in advance) and then which ever gets the most responses we go with and then have people rsvp after we have set time and location? pm me!

I could work with that if others can agree. I will create a poll thread and see where it goes.

Ive created a fresh thread, should not interfere with Dogs meet and greets, we will see where it goes.
