Does this stuff or any of the products like it really work?
(I probably already know the answer ....)

I dug the hard top for the Zuk out and put it on yesterday.
It's supposed to be a kinda shiny black fiberglass ..... it ain't!

If that stuff don't work, what to do to clean up the hard top and make it look good?

thanks,

Matt

I’ve used it on headlights a few sets of headlights and some friends have used it on car moldings all with good results.

I had a new package fall on its side in the cabinet of my loading bench and all of the chemical leak out. Made a helluva mess, didn't help the molding on my kids jeep at all. I'm going to buy another and try it some day.

It’s my impression that those products cause more long term chemical damage to the material than anything, causing it to dull more over time. Beyond that, the fiberglass top on my Bronco was well past dull, snagged some Duplicolor semigloss and went to town. Held up just fine now for 7-8 years.

I used it on my avalanche plastic and it worked great. Stayed shiny for over a year even with car washes. I was very impressed.
