yeah i have been walkin on the same floor for 12 hours a day at the same place for the last 8 years so.lol. yes got the heel spur to prove it and it sucks. yeah the slip resistant sole are good for oil but when the humitity goes up and the floor starts to sweat you see who has good shoes and who dont . lol its like watchin guys try to walk on ice.

Rocky.......anything else is just a shoe. I have used all over the years. Wolverine is good, but Rocky has been the best ever.
Very pricey, the ones i wear

thats not too bad for a good work boot. I like them cause they are styled more like a cowboy boot, which is good for me since I ride my dads horses every once and a while. that may be the best looking all around boot ive seen. Ill def. check them out.

Wolverine Durashocks only for me.
Back when I worked at NCSU, we got new boots every year, and I tried a lot of them - Caterpillar, Georgia Boot, and a couple others, but for the last 10 years have been loving the Wolverine Durashocks...they are more comfortable than a lot of tennis shoes to me. But as mentioned, it depends on your foot - I have a really narrow foot, but Wolverines have a Medium width which works great. Now I don't even have to try them on, Just order 12 M off the internet every couple years...

I've had the soles come off of 3 pairs of Red Wings within 3 months, for a $170 boot I wasn't impressed at all and will never buy another pair. I wear Timberlands and Doc Martins.

i just picked up a set of john deere slipons and they are comfortable as hell...steeltoe(actually some sort of crazy alloy) slip resistant, waterproof, electric shock resistant, they have a antimicrobial insole in them to keep the smell down etc etc...the kicker for me was that they were a slipon with steeltoes and REAL BOOT TREAD, not that "tread" they put on justins and the like that arent good for anything....its a $185 boot and i got mine for $85....a guy at webb rd flea market here in salisbury sells all sorts of boots cheap as hell....he gets them from business' that close down etc...he has georgia's, justins, wolverines, cats, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc if you can think of it, he has em....and hes a nice guy too

I had the same issue with Redwings several years ago, yeah, they warrantied them, after the third round, I told them they could keep 'em, that was the last pair I wanted to own.

you guys must have gotten bad pairs. ive had my Redwings for like 4 years and they are holding up great. i wear the "pecos" boot because i hate having to tie my shoes and they are a slip on boot. i work on concrete all day and if i wear any other shoes my feet hurt like hell when i go to bed
