Our neighbors tried that shit with their dog. They had one of those little yapper dogs... tried feeding it "vegan" dog food because they couldn't stand the thought of a carnivore living on meat products. Surprise! The dog wouldn't eat it.

I think they were smart enough to get rid of the animal, though... rather than starve it to death.

To throw a different point of view out there, I agree with being a vegan in idea but I also agree with them getting thrown in jail for life.

what they did was wrong but dont hate all vegans/vegetarians cause of some stupid people, its really a damn good way to live.

I'm sure that you can find plenty of vegans in Boone. But I've got to disagree that it's a good way, much less a healthy way to live. None of the vegans I've ever known have been healthy. Most are either underweight and have metabolic disorders (including difficulty maintaining body temperature), or are obese and are transferring veganism for other eating disorders or as a manifestation of some other mental illness.

There's the problem right there. Regardless of what your dietary or animal-rights beleifs are, any reasonable person with any responsiblility for their child will take him to a doctor, even for a checkup. They are clearly either (a) legal idiots andn ot fit to have a child or care for themselves or (b) intentionally made decisions which harmed the child, making them criminals.

My sone was born 7 weeks early, at 3.75 lbs. He looked like an alien. You'd have to be plain stupid to think that was normal. You'd think that at least by week 4 or 5 they'd get a clue.

Maybe rather than life inprisonment, which is kind of silly and will cost the rest of us a small fortune, it'd be more appropriate to have them both sterilized so they can't spread their idiocy.
Sounds harsh, but beats life in prison. That is of course assuming they didn't do thsi intentionally... which I'm beginning to believe they did....

Go figure... a couple of fawkin bark eaters decide to malnourish their child and claim some "pea brain" veggie tale as a reason not to feed the child breast milk or formula... the same necessity afforded them by their parents! Long before they thought eating solely rabbit food was healthy.
