Ok so I put a 6.5" rustys longarm on my 97 XJ. Ever since at low speeds on the back roads it walks all over the road, kinda scary, but at high speed on the highway its straight as can be. I don't know what the deal is, any suggestions?

Did you address the front track bar when you installed the lift?

did you have it aligned after the install?

Ya rustys kit came with track bar, and I got it alined, and I set all the lengths and angles sugestedd by rustys

You might want to check what your caster is set at with an angle finder or if the alignment shop gave you a print out check that. If it is wandering a lot that may be your issue. Depending on who did the alignment it may have been more of a toe and go job.

If the back end is loose only check the ubolts and make sure those are tight. Mine started getting a little wiggly on undulating roads at slower speeds and that was the culprit.

This, I was assuming the alignment shop would have checked and adjusted the caster. Out of wack caster will make for a real scary ride.
