LOL, I thought about you when I wrote that, and I chuckled out loud in my cubicle.
when my JK was stock, I didnt have the approach angle to get my front tires on the rock, so I just used the skinny pedal until my plastic bumper rode up the rock a bit. i'm suprised I didnt have the same results as you did...

I learned from the school of hard knocks too.
I've bent and broke plenty of crap.
Lessons learned:
dont let go of the door when the wind is blowing and you've taken off the hinge straps. (mirror contacts the door first and fast)
Go slow through deep puddles. (hydrolock) you live and learn...

I hear ya.. I learned to go slow through deep puddles too.. same thing hydrolock.. and the mirror denting also but that was on my sisters old jeep... but still life is full of lessons...

Spencer (owner of xterra) and I have done a lot of dumb stuff over the years... i cant count how many times we have flipped the kawasaki mule over wheelin it, but thats different then flopping an actual vehicle... Ive known him long enough to know that he learns as he makes mistakes.

damn chris.
two weeks bro til the farm. get it together.
It'll be ready by the first of the week, rest of the old windshield is out and almost ready for the donor windshield. Started putting on new LCA mounts tonight and will finish up that tomorrow. We've got to pull the pillar post on the pass. side out some more where it kissed the tree. So ya'll get ready for some entertainment at the farm, Chris is bound to F something up while making us laugh.:shaking:

HAHA thats for sure!Even though hes going to the farm and not going camping with us at URE!Im hatin!lol

Whatever gave you guys the idea that I was gonna mess the jeep up? I mean I gotz mad skinny pedal skillz! Can't mess nuttin' up when dem skillz!

Oh and Ben, don't be haitin just cuz your jealous cuz your yota can't hang at the farm. :p

The Farm is private land owned by a member of the Big Dixie Boggers. It's located in Pumpkin Center, NC. Yes, your X can handle many of the obstacles there. However, these obstacles are more advanced than the trails at URE. Just take it slow and easy and don't bite off more than you can chew, unless you don't mind flopping again. :D

Watch the spotters and LISTEN to what they tell you and you'll be fine on some trails, dont just jump in, watch for a little while.

What he's really trying to say is, thank you Ben for winching me back over and being a badazz and kicking out my windshield! And we all now that the yota would put on a clinic at the farm!!!!!:driver:

exactly. i didnt buy it to mall krawl. that would be fucking pointless just gotta get a windsheild back in it so that it is street legal

yeah it should be pretty fun cause i needa learn my vehicle alot more than i already have. i want to learn to drive so that i can really start wheeling

If you learn to use that clutch while wheeling then you will be a pro on the street!

Yeah I hear ya on that one... I just love givin spencer hell cuz that's all I hear from him is that gettin an automatic jeep was the stupidest thing I could have done. Good friends are supposed to give you hell for stuff like that haha

jake im pretty sure i can drive it on the road i dont have that problem. but i do need to learn to be able to controll the clutch while wheelin. its a completely different feeling
