ZJ stroker build

New condenser, radiator, and transmission cooler installed.
Radiator is from radiatorexpress.com and is all aluminum two row. Went with the 97zj version because it was $50 cheaper. Only difference between the different year radiator was the transmission cooler line adaptors.
Not sure what's so special about the 98s as to why they are that much more expensive but since I am using an aftermarket transmission cooler it doesn't matter.

She is all put back together! Only took 8 seconds to start right up and running great without issues. Did the cam break in and got the AC charged. Did a little driving on my street. Seems to hesitate a bit on hard acceleration. Not sure if it is too rich or lean. Need to get a muffler on it because it is way to darn loud

Picked up the 8.8 from @Gavin G. Dennis yesterday!!!!! 3.73 gears with limited slip. I am thinking I should be good with those gears if I'm only doing 33s.

Can anyone tell me if I should pull out the axles, ring, and pinion before I take it to have the new brackets welded? The instructions don't say anything about pulling them but I wasn't sure if the heat from welding would damage it.

And thank you to @skyhighZJ for convincing me to go with the 8.8

My .02 would to add 1.5” to the upper and lower on the front to stretch the front a hair and get the front spring compressing in a straight line.

If they are straight at ride height disregard my above comment.

So looking back at the first pics I posted it does look a bit off center. But I think it might be the angle which I took the pictures and the fact that my driveway where it sits is on a steep incine.
Here is a bit better of a shot. Does this look better or do you think I should still adjust it a bit?

So I will most definitely need extended sway bar links. Has anyone heard of using early 90s f250 front links in the zj?

Also front explorer links in the back of a zj?

My rear axle is pushed back a good bit to center it in the wheel well and now the rear sway bar does not look like it would line up even with extended links put in with how they are bolted. Am I missing something?

Extend front sway bar links trash the entire rear

I may get called out and this is just my opinion but I have ran 4 different ZJ’s from 31’s to 37’s none had rear sway bars cause they were always a pain in the ass to get lined up even if you do a budget boost.
Also.
A.) they are thin as a toothpick so I never imagined they did a whole lot in comparison to the front.
B.) a ZJ isn’t a road rally, perfect handling machine. So banging corners and curves shouldn’t be on the agenda.
