I scratched my head for a minute and said "Oh you mean your friends big black dog?"
"No dad thats black dog. BIG BLACK DIED."
"Did he go to school with you son? Was it a nickname I didnt know?
"No Dad, Big Black!!!!! You know Big Black, he was the big black guy who was on ridiculousness"
Sorry son...Im sure hell be missed.
