Mall Crawling Racer...... #4410

Carolina Auto Concepts got the transmission out faster than I could unload the 4410 off the trailer...

Also, DJ put in a new starter, wasn't the issue. Looks like I may have completely killed the battery in the moment of trying to get back into the race. Jump pack and jumper cables couldn't get it on either...

You wanna do any cleaning in the trans tunnel area? I should be here Saturday a good portion of the day. We will get the big stuff vacuumed out, but I know how you like to give tube work the old spit shine...

I showed Melody your picture and she is trying to fly home from Dallas to sand and oil the race car. :).

If you watch my videos closely, you'll notice I actually don't touch anything with dirt on it. It's all Melody ;)

Had a great morning warping the minds of the next generation of race car drivers ;-).

So much fun getting to share the Ultra4 experience with local schools!!

The car is prepped and ready to roll out for Ultra4 Kentucky. This has been my toughest year of racing since I was 16.... here's hoping we change that this weekend!

Still battling, but will have to fight through some mistakes made today.

After 2 wheeling it on a hill climb, I over shot a turn and had to back up. In qualifying, the reverse gear is a death sentence.

Oh well, it's a long race tomorrow.

Great day of racing!

We started in the back and passed 20 cars by lap 12 (of 16), then the fuel line split spraying gas every and the rear driveshaft exploded. The race was called early and that timed us out while repairing the fuel line.

We did enough in our 12 laps to take home 19th place and qualified for 2018 King of the Hammers in the process!

Don't tell him that! He is likely to do it, then I will have to fix stuff when he puts it on its roof because he can't stop...

@REDLYNER Oh and sorry I forgot to text you back today! I will hit you up tomorrow. Been a bit crazier than normal around the shop.

Ugh. Fingers are raw, forearms are trashed... tire balls removed ;-).

Guessing the marker marks on the bolts are for checking if they've moved or backed off? And do you guys have to safety wire anything? Good luck this year bro.
