I've been drooling over this thing since it first popped up on cl about a month ago but was priced to high for me and apparently everyone else. Price dropped Friday, by Sunday I couldn't resist the urge any longer Picked it up Monday night! 04 super duty, p-pumped 24v and twins! One of the cleanest swaps I've seen. Hopefully this is the truck I've been looking for

Had this since 99. 175k on it. It puts down 800 lbs feet at the wheels. I’ve always babied it though. I built it to pull my horse trailer and my crawler way back in the day. The horses and the toys are long since gone but my truck stayed. This is my first post on this sight since like 2003. I even had to re-join. Chances are, I was posting here before some of you were born. I’ve recently considered selling it. If I do, I’d like to see it go to a good home. Some one who would take care of it and not destroy it with huge lifts and such. I don’t even know what the market for an old 7.3 in perfect shape would be though.

I’d actually like to see this truck in person. I see it says that you’re in Albemarle. I’m in Asheboro quite a bit. What would it take to check it out if you wouldn’t mind?

Made a 520 mile trip from Greensboro to Clarksville Indiana hauling our 5th wheel. Pulled Black mtn in third gear, 3k rpm and 42 mph. That's good for me for the old truck. Rolled over 250,000 on the trip. Averaged 8.7 mpg

Valve cover and turbo piping blue color to the blue color of the truck doesn't match. Just a personal preference thing, truck looks good though and the swap looks like it was done well.

Took the truck/trailer on it's maiden voyage today, grossing a little over 60k. First time driving a 5th wheel trailer too. Truck handled it great but seemed a little down on power, wouldn't pull hills like I think it should. 71mph top speed based on GPS.

Here are a few more pictures. I picked this up today. Some specs... 8K axles e z lube, 27 ft flat, 5 foot beaver tail, 2 spares, 17.5 in wheels 16 ply tires, super ramps, 30 in light bar with brake and turn signals each side end 3 lights in the bar, led lights sealed beam, 3 in supports 16”O.C., shipping wt 9k#, capacity 20k#, 11K# payload. Set up for 2 Jeeps.

Will let you know for sure as I plan to scale it tomorrow on the way back to York from Lexington KY. That is what my certificate of origin says and confirmed by the dealer. One of the spare tires is all you want to lift.
