Any body have experience with new Toyota’s?

A good friend of mine has a 2016 taco. He lives in upstate NY so it goes through more torture than most trucks.

For him it is holding up fine. The interior feels a little cheap but the electronics sure are nice.

I have a 2014 Tacoma with a 2.7, had a 2012 Tundra with a 4.6, (then a ‘15 CC XLT F-250 with the 6.2), now have a 2015 Tundra with the 5.7.

They are reliable trucks. If you’re gonna tow, get the 5.7. It’s a beast (380hp/400 ft-lb) and the 5.7 trucks have a 10.5” rear end.

Anything particular you want to know about them?

Just re-read and saw you were specifically asking about Tacomas. My 2014 has 82k miles (I put a ton of highway miles on the truck for traveling work). It’s a very low maintenance truck to own and operate. It might be about time for new rotors and maybe new shocks but all that is to be expected.
