That's not his fault! He would be rich if he charged $100/hr, because he would be there all year.

That's only if Kevin was the operator and he was paid for poo breaksAre we talking 10' wide at the bottom, or 10' wide at the top?
One is a HUGE ditch, the other is...uhh...I mean....unheard of?

Have you seen Kevin operate equipment?

No, just lose at the drag strip![]()
Perhaps a mass burial site? Underground bunker? The mole people? Who knows? I really don't think they thought it out very much either. If they want a retention pond, I could definitely go about it a little differently....same if they just want to route water somewhere else.
I’ve heard of other people wanting to drain the swamp and they haven’t accomplished it yet and they have been trying for two yearsYeah, if his plan is to drain a swamp, I wouldn’t want any part of that. That’s an Army Corps violation. You don’t want an ACOE wetland violation.

In this case a backhoe and a trench would be a lot better!I’ve heard of other people wanting to drain the swamp and they haven’t accomplished it yet and they have been trying for two years
You want no part of disturbing a ''designated'' or maybe one day ''possibly designated'' wetland area!Yeah, if his plan is to drain a swamp, I wouldn’t want any part of that. That’s an Army Corps violation. You don’t want an ACOE wetland violation.

I mentioned it to the guy again today. He said he'd let me know what exactly it is they want done. It's probably going to wind up being something unrealistic. We'll see.
Good point.
It's not any worse than this guy up the road from me that wants a 1 acre pond. He said as payment I could have the dirt. Brilliant... I actually had to explain to him why he wouldn't get anyone to agree to that deal.

$2000 of that is getting it from your land to paved roadAnd where you are located 6K just to move the equipment to location and back.
With a mini ex your going to be there for months full time, on a job that size, I might be interested, break out the EX 200 and the D3, excavator $100 an hour, D3 $80, you are talking thousands of yards dirt! Probably rent a offroad dumptruck.
That sounds like a 100k job all day long!
