1984 CJ8 Alaskan Postal

Wednesday I drove to Cincinnati and back in one day. 17 hrs round trip.

It runs and drives but has obvious needs. Plans are to restore to 95% original with tasteful mods such as small lift and 32s like my ‘83 Scrambler, install passenger seat and rear troop seats, etc.

Only driven around the neighborhood and already the looks from it being RHD are awesome. Can’t wait to get it complete and out in the main roads. However I’ve got to finish the CJ7 first

Fortunately I’m able to fit 6 inside my 3 bay garage at home due to lifts. Truck and JKUR sit outside. Moved the Postal to my shop yesterday.

Now Now - I do sell but only when it feels right.

I said I'd never sell my '81 Scrambler - that I'd die with it. However when someone comes along and offers a substantial amount of money for it and I know it's going to a loving home, I sent it down the road.

I build them with the idea that i'll never sell - so that I enjoy them 100% for me. Usually others like my style and approach me on them and they get sold after I've enjoyed them.
