I'm tired of this stupid shit. If they want to pretend the past didn't happen, then they should go back to the motherland and start over. Great chance to write their own history. Yes, I mean Africa. And I dont mean black people. Im talking about these dumbass, reformist history buttlickers that are offended by anything that doesn't comply with their "truth".

Preach it brother.

Meh. Should be another within 1000'

I saw that ealier and in reading the article I can't see how it's relevant at all. Like @GotWood said, there was anot her hydrant close by that they accessed. Judging by the amount of 5" on the ground in one of the photos they might have been able to tap more than one hydrant. The aforementioned article is almost clickbait. Dude accidentally caught his house on fire while drunk playing with fireworks, so what? This article is nothing more than kicking a man while he's down.

Dude was also drunk when he ran over the hydrant, glad that's all he hit and not another vehicle or someone walking their dogs. I know 2 people who do and they both live about 200 yrds from him .............I think he got some karma and might cut down on his drankin.

No doubt.

But the fact remains, that he was drunk and hit the hydrant, has nothing to do with his house burning down. The article is insinuating that his house burned down, in part, because he hit the hydrant drunk. Dude very likely has a drinking problem to go along with his dui and his burned down house. Running a news story like that does nothing but rub salt in some pretty big wounds.
