Question about the 2020 Schedule

I’m thinking about it. @D2320M would be pulling my WJ up there. Don’t know many of y’all yet but my rig is locked on 33’s. I won’t have my winch on yet. Hope that’s not a problem but it has recovery points front and rear.

how’s the terrain? It’ll be wet and some of the videos look like we’ll be up to our mirrors in mud. I don’t HATE mud, but I hate mud. Lol.

While it may be muddy, most of the mudhole videos are of one particular trail called the Amazon. The rest of them are not that bad as far as deep mud goes.

Looks like I'm out for Burning Rock. Got some work left to do to Leroy and getting the self-guilt trip on missing the twins' games this weekend. I'd even bought a bottle of Armor All but it looks like it'll rain anyway. Tires always shine in the rain. :D

Is anyone doing the Jan 11 ride in WV? I was thinking about joining in to meet the group (not a member at the moment). Thx
My 4 year old and I are thinking of heading to this in the CJ on 33s, unless its going to be a buggy jam then we can either run other trails or go somewhere else. I just joined CTB this year but have been wheeling with my club in Ohio for many years. What is the usual meeting time on saturdays?

Typically 9am. Not a buggy jam, I think most of the folks going will be close to your tire size, or only slightly bigger. There is only a handful of us that seek out the hardcore stuff for the big tire crowd, but we usually separate into appropriate groups. You’ll be just fine and have a good time!

Weather is looking a little better, there's plenty of Bball games, screw it...let's do it! I'm on 33's but no winch yet. We can ride together on the appropriate trails.

*will work for armor all* :D

I would be there with you but I still need to work some things out on the jeep.

I probably wont make a ride till March. Mainly due to the distance and having to work till 4 on fridays.

There’s a seat for you in the wj.

Unfortunately a scorched torque converter in the tow rig left us in Wytheville VA for a weekend of transmission fun instead of the trail ride. Will try again for the next ride.
