As for the strap on the wheels, needs more triangulation.
 
I've got a few different kinds of chocks, several straps and a pretty large strain gauge. Tomorrow if it doesn't rain, we'll do a scientific experiment.
Hard to create strain when there's no tension on the strap. But as long as both wheels don't rotate in the same direction at the same time, dat don't matter none.

What's this "wheel chalk" I keep seeing? Is it like sidewalk chalk? Or is it similar to a wheel chock.

Also interested in the spare chick being kept in the toolbox. You know, for informational purposes and learning and all...
